I can't believe this actually happened.

Studies have concluded that it's more likely you will be hit by lightning than win the lottery. Well, no lightning strike for me, just pure lottery-winning bliss.

They say winning the lottery will change you. Maybe it will, but I plan on being the same Chris Sedenka I have always been...just a lot wealthier. Perhaps I will retire. What's that point of even lifting a finger? What do I have to prove?

But I'm only 43 years old. I could certainly see myself getting bored.

Maybe I should just buy the radio station. That way I can work when I want. Just drop in and do a shift here, record a commercial there. I can even keep up with the station gossip at the water cooler. You know, still be part of the team, even though I'm way richer than everyone else. Plus, I would now be their boss.

I hope my newfound fortune doesn't become a burden. There are so many stories about folks, who have sadly fallen apart after winning the lottery. People spend it unwisely, it can break up families, everyone is looking for a handout...it truly can tear a person apart.

Perhaps it's best to move away from Maine. It would be difficult. I love it here, but a new anonymous start somewhere else might have to happen. There's nothing like being unknown to a community, especially when you have a boatload of money to play with.

I guess I need to consider what to do with my newfound fortune. Do I invest most of it? Do I buy a sports team? Should I give it to those less fortunate? Should I try and buy my favorite website from Elon? Perhaps, I should splurge on a fleet of sports cars. Heck, who wouldn't want a private jet?

So many options, but I keep landing on one thing that I think would be absolutely ideal: spending my winnings on a nice Mocha Latte, because the Powerball is the only number I actually hit. Give me those $4, baby.

Or not, because I probably already lost the ticket.
