Maine Healthcare Hero Lisa Ireland Checks In With Us On Way to The Super Bowl
Celeste and I were honored to talk to Lisa Ireland this morning. Lisa is a frontline healthcare worker at River Ridge Center in Kennebunk. We don't know what Lisa had planned for this weekend but whatever it was, her plans have changed. Lisa was chosen as one of four Mainers to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Super Bowl in Tampa. Better yet, she's traveling on the Patriots Plane!
Lisa got the invite from Mr. Robert Kraft himself earlier this week.
We got to speak to Lisa this morning on the WBLM Morning Show. She's a loyal Blimp listener and we are so proud that she will be representing all our Maine healthcare SUPERheroes at the Super Bowl. Celeste sent Lisa a WBLM T-shirt so be looking for the Blimp and Lisa in the stands when you're watching on Sunday!
LISTEN TO LISA WITH THE CAPTAIN AND CELESTE THIS MORNING
Here's all the cool stuff Lisa is receiving for her trip:
Lisa and all the healthcare workers who are headed to Tamps have been fully vaccinated. One of the coolest things Lisa told us was how excited everyone at Rover Ridge Center is for her. The place is buzzing because all the folks there actually KNOW someone going to the Super Bowl.
And the plane! Have you seen the inside of this thing? Take a tour...
We love our Patriots and we LOVE all our frontline workers who are laying it on the line for all of us. Have fun, Lisa. You deserve it! Be listening on Tuesday-Lisa will call in with a full review of her trip to the Suoer Bowl.
