Every year since 2008, something beautiful and wicked wacky happens down the hall from the WBLM studio. The first week of December brings us requests anything from Josh Groban to Rob Zombie over the CYY airwaves with Markathon.

Our host and hero, Mark Curdo will be on the radio nonstop for 6 days. That's 126 hours! While he's in the studio, Mark will play everything and anything (and we mean anything) you want if you pledge a donation to help families with Center for Grieving Children.

This will be his longest stint ever in the decade that he's been raising money to support Mainers facing some of the most difficult times in their lives. So far over $420,000 has been raised since Markathon started 10 years ago.

It's an amazing week of Maine radio that we look forward to every year, all for a great cause!  You can make a donation to the Center for Grieving Children and get a request played for your generosity.  ANY song, ANY style by ANY artist!

ALL the money raised goes to the CGC...Thanks Blimpville!
