I have loved The Wall since first hearing selections from it 35 years ago on WBLM. At the time, I was a new teenager fraught with the insecurities of trying to fit in with my peers and discovering who I was as an individual.  Something most us probably have in common, right? Growing up, music always made me feel connected to something larger and brought comfort to me knowing that others felt weird and isolated sometimes too. I can't think of a more perfect album for a thirteen year old to identify with than, The Wall. It is so very cool to be able to relive this experience as I near the end of my forties feeling the same feels of exhilaration and heartache with the release of the full feature film, Roger Waters The Wall. It comes out today(12/1) on Blu-Ray, DVD and digital formats.

Something inside me instructed me to check iTunes for it last night and lucky me, it was there! It didn't take me long to click purchase and get it rolling immediately. I didn't see the show at Fenway and I also missed the the one-night-only showing at Cinemagic in September, so I've been anticipating this magic moment for quite a while now. I know this phrase gets tossed around a lot, but I absolutely mean it. It's MIND-BLOWING!! You can bet I'll be watching it again in my living room tonight and watching the clip above until then.
