Today we mark a sad day in rock history as we remember the great Richard Wright, keyboard player and co-founder of Pink Floyd

Rick passed away from cancer 7 years ago on September 15, 2008 at the age of 65. He was on every Pink Floyd album from 1967's to 1979's The Wall. He did not appear on The Final Cut in 1983 but returned in 1987 for A Momentary Lapse of Reason and 1994 for The Division Bell. When he passed, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour said, "He was such a lovely, gentle, genuine man and will be missed terribly by so many who loved him."

Join us tonight at 5:20 for live Pink Floyd on the WBLM Mini-Concert.
