Did Drunk Uncles Decorate The Trees in Portland?

What is the appropriate time to string up those purrty Christmas lights? When should they come down? Is there some kind of Christmas tree light bootcamp we could send our public works department to?

It looks like my drunk Uncle decorated these trees on Monument Square. But seeing these lights up has inspired me to go home and pull out my huge stash of decorations. Is it too soon? Will my neighbors be annoyed? Then I remember the empty flower pots, the deconstructed Shop Vac and all of the leaves on my porch.

If they aren't knocking on my door yet, they won't be too disturbed by my faux pine garland.
