Watch: BLM’s Dom in New Music Video

You know him best from riding in the Big Red Love Van with me as we go back in time for WBLM Mini-Concerts. Dominic Lavoie is also the singer and guitarist for one of Portland's best bands,  Dominic and the Lucid.  Their new album Ferret is available now at Bullmoose Music and on the band's website.

Their release party is this Friday night at Portland House of Music and Events. Check out the really cool new video for the song, Apex Predator. Visually, it's got kinda of a Max Headroom digital vibe to it. If you dig psychedelic rock, you'll definitely dig this!

Along with Dominic, the band features Nathan Cyr (bass), Chuck Gagne (drums) and Scott Mohler (keyboards and guitar). Dom is way too humble to promote his new album on the Blimp, so we will!

Maybe you've heard Dom's song “Be In Love.”  It was featured in the Maine Academy of Modern Music “Playing for Change” video. This is a fantastic representation of what the Portland music scene is all about. This really should be our city's official theme song!
