Here in Blimpville, we all love a good drum solo. Now comes a pounding of the skins that you don't see everyday. This is drumming performed in the most Maine way we've seen yet.

According to his Facebook page, Steve Forrest Hamblen is a Gorham High School alum who is a touring and studio drummer based out of Nashville these days.

He is back home in Gorham and yesterday he set up his kit in the yard to entertain us with his "antics".

To further add to his timekeeping precision and showmanship, Steven is playing his drums during our spring snow storm as the windshield wipers on the van behind him intermittently sweep back and forth.

Thanks for rippin' it up for everybody at home this week Steve. Great drumming, bub!
