I was at Pine Point last weekend with some friends enjoying my trashy beach read, when the E-reader VS. Paperback conversation began. I am old school, I love having a book in my hands and I've been known to run into Hannaford's at nine o'clock at night to pick one up if I need something to read before bed. The girls next to me love their E-readers. They download lots of books, it's portable, they can make the font huge for easy reading- they made some good points. However, I choose my next book by reading the back of it, how do you do that on an electronic device? Mark bought me a Kindle a few years ago, I kept losing my page and I hated having to scroll all the time. Some part of my brain was very unsatisfied with the experience. One of our favorite "Family Date Nights" is to go to BAM, choose books and have a snack. We are all big readers in our family and we share our books. Right now I'm reading "Spaced Out", a book that our ten year old lent to me. You can't share a book on Kindle!

What do you prefer?

I gave my Kindle to my cousin Tanya and she loves it.
