1st Maine Location for Gas and Cannabis Opens

You know that little "Getty Mart" across from BJ's Wholesale Club on Warren Avenue in Portland? It's has recently evolved to a higher level. After a new Maine medical cannabis law changed last week, the tiny a-frame convenience store with gas pumps has opened as Atlantic Farms Gas N' Grass.

Now when we're running on empty either in the tank or in the jar, we can take care of both at one stop. That is, if you have your legal Maine medical cannabis card.

According to a story from CBS 13 WGME owner Jackson McLeod says,

"The ability to come in here and shop in a convenient store setting is brand new and our model allows people to shop from caregivers across the state which is new because under this law we can now buy wholesale."

Hopefully they keep the shelves fully stocked with snacks for those blind screaming munchies too.
