33 Elmwood in Westbrook is Reopening
Last May 33 Elmwood closed its doors forever. Well, they are back open for private events.
It was so sad when 33 Elmwood closed its doors. First, they closed their doors to the public and then to private events. This is an excellent sign as private events are back!
Just in time for the holidays. If you were looking for a fun place to have your company holiday party or even a wedding! If you've never been, having a party is the best way to be introduced to 33 Elmwood. We've had several parties there and they are always a blast! Nothing beats bowling with co-workers. Your choice of candlepin and big ball. With doors from the old Prides Corner Bowl numbering the lanes.
That's where you separate the men from the boys. Or try your hand at bocce ball. I learned that beer helps when you lose.
Welcome back 33 Elmwood! I hope this is a sign of good things to come. I know that places had to close down because of the pandemic, then the economy. To be able to make a comeback is so encouraging. I truly hope for everyone involved that this is just the beginning for 33 Elmwood. I hope that enough people are able to take advantage of this opportunity and that it kicks the doors open to the public. I know that their Facebook post says that opening to the public is on the horizon for 2023. I can't wait to go and play terrible bocce ball while eating one of the best burgers I've ever had and drinking some fine adult beverages.
