Unreal Video of a Driver Executing a Three-Point Turn on Storrow Drive in Boston

If you ask anyone from away about their thoughts on how New Englanders drive, more often than not (and quite possibly every single time), the response is going to be that we drive like (insert choice of negative expletive here). And more often than not, we own it. You need to be an equal parts aggressive but defensive driver if you're ever going to make it on these roads, especially in Massachusetts.

Interestingly, a recent study has Boston on the safe-list for cities to drive through

Re-read that statement again. Odds are, any person who reads this article has driven through Boston before. It's highly doubtful that anyone would call Boston a "safe city" to drive in. As a matter of fact, because the streets are labeled so wonky and there's no real method-to-the-madness of the layout of streets (as opposed to a grid layout like in New York City), the less we have to drive through Boston, the happier most of us tend to be.

Which makes the survey of 'The Best and Worst Drivers By City 2021' done back in June by Quote Wizard by LendingTree remarkable. The survey ranked the best and worst cities by using a combination of four specific categories: accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations (like running a red light or stop sign, speeding, etc.) Not only does Boston not make any spot on the 35 worst cities list -- Boston actually ranked #13 on the best cities list. 

Bold statement when you consider Bostonians (and even visitors) bust out moves like the ole "three-point turn on Storrow Drive" -- one of the most annoying and at times, difficult areas to navigate through in all of New England, let alone just the city itself.

Just when you thought you've seen it all. Then again, legitimately just another day in that ends in "Y" when you're driving through the apparently 13th best city for driving in the country...
