Sea Dogs with Your Land Dog

Anyone that has a pet knows that they're much more than a pet, they're family! And who doesn't like some good ol' family fun? With two dates this summer, dog moms and dads have the opportunity to enjoy Portland's favorite baseball team along with their furry friends!

Bark in the Park

Happening at Hadlock Field on Friday, July 23rd at 6 pm vs. Harrisburg and Tuesday, August 24th at 6 pm vs. Reading, dogs are welcome with the special Bark in the Park tickets.

These tickets provide a private entrance into Hadlock Field and special seating in the leftfield grandstand.

Want to go to the concourse for merch, dinner, or ice cream? No worries. There will be a doggie valet on hand to look after your pup while you're getting the goods!

Tickets are still available for both dates but are limited to just 300 per game! Humans and dogs will need tickets. $11 for adults and $8 for kids, seniors, and dogs. For more info and to get your tickets click here.

Something tells me Slugger will certainly be among friends on these nights!

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
