BLM Posts Reward for Missing Portland Porcupine
Sometimes, as a media outlet you can't just stand by and gather and report the news. Sometimes, you have to get involved in the news. And that's exactly how we feel about the missing/stolen/lost Portland Porcupine.
The Porcupine at the entrance of the Portland Jetport was part of 10 animal sculptures donated to the Portland Public Art collection by William D. and Mary Louise Hamill. It's been there since 2011. Seems someone went to a lot of trouble to steal it..from taking it off it's concrete stand, to getting it in the back of a pickup trick, to dealing with the sharpened quills made of nails!
The BLM Morning Show has had ENOUGH. So we are actively getting involved with the investigation. The person who helps in the finding and returning of the beloved purloined Portland Porcupine with receive a pair of tickets to see Journey and the Doobie Brothers when they come to Maine in concert this summer. Call the studio at 792-1029 or contact us on our Facebook page. NO questions asked.
Of course, someone has started a Twitter account as the Portland Porcupine and it's hilarious. We will be watching it for clues.
