We were blown away by the news that would be a Blue Öyster Cult concert in the Northeast this month. It was originally scheduled to happen on Saturday July 11 at Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire.

This show would be with the band actually playing live on stage as opposed to just being piped in and projected on a huge movie screen. Cool right?

Well unfortunately, things didn't work out weather wise for it to happen this past weekend.

The good news is, the show has a new date on July 18. With most concerts being cancelled or postponed till next year due to Covid-19, it's very cool to hear BOC fans will only have to wait a few days for this one.

Here's the official word from our friends at Drive-In Live on their Facebook page.

So if you're ready to see a kickass live show, this looks like a great, safe way to rock.

Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire is about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive from Portland, Maine.

Ticket prices range from 119.00 to 159.00 per carload with a 5 person limit.

The legendary band led by Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser and Eric Bloom, will be  playing epic classics like (Don't) Fear The Reaper, Burnin' For You and more.

The first show was last night with a Pink Floyd tribute band called Echoes of Floyd. Check out the socially distanced audience. Looks like a pretty cool scene.  This reminds us a time long ago when we were tailgating in the parking lot when there were concerts at the Ballpark in OOB, except now your tailgating inside the venue for the whole show.
