Local Icon

Fat Boy Drive-In in Brunswick, Maine has been an icon to locals and tourists for generations. Fat Boy almost feels like stepping into (or driving into) a time machine complete with no-need-to-leave-the-car eats such as burgers, frappes, and fried seafood.

Operation

Fat Boy is typically only open during the warmer months although they did bring some much-needed joy to the area opening during the winter in the pandemic. Unfortunately, this year Fat Boy had to close earlier than normal due to a lack of staff.

On The Move

Fat Boy isn't done for 2021 just yet though! They announced that they have a Fat Boy food trailer and will be attending the Fall Foliage Festival in Boothbay next weekend, Saturday, October 9th, and Sunday, October 10th.

No details are available yet about what food will be available or if Fat Boy on Wheels will be making other stops during their off-season.

Fall Foliage Festival

If you're interested in the fun family events in addition to the food the Fall Foliage Festival happens at the Railway Village Museum in Boothbay. With various vendors, live music, food, and exhibits. It's $5 per person and free for those 12 and under. The train will be offering rides as well for an additional $5.
