How many squirrels did you run over this summer? Poor little guys!

No doubt the summer of 2018 was a bizarre one for wildlife. Not sure if they can all sense the end of the world is coming or something? Shark attacks, seals and whales washing up on beaches, and the most notorious were the squirrels. Never have we seen a squirrel explosion like we have this summer and still into fall.

The reason why there are so many is because they had a surplus of food gathered in winter/spring. So, pretty much any baby squirrels born survived. But, there hasn't been enough space for all of them. May the casualties rest in peace.
