I have yet to visit the swinging foot bridge between Brunswick and Topsham that stretches over the Androscoggin River... but now I am convinced I have to. Rivers and lakes are high with snow melt right now, with the Androscoggin leading the pack.

Steve Yenco of Mainly Maine Photography captured the raging waters coursing underneath the swinging bridge and posted the video to his facebook. From the video, you can see the bridge is still open to foot traffic, despite the river's high levels. I would imagine you can feel a little spray from below while you cross the bridge.

Yenco has captured a number of waterfall and raging waters videos, along with snippets of Maine wildlife with his game cam. This is such a great time of year to pull out the video camera (or cell phone) when you're out and about with all the flowers blooming, earlier sunrises and later sunsets, and wildlife coming out from hiding to play in the sun. Not to mention the high waters everywhere!
