Unraveling the Curious Case of The Bones I Found in My Maine Backyard
At this point, I feel like I am cursed. There isn't much that can effect me because of the calamities that I have gone through in life but this has been a lot lately. I am finding so many different uniquely gross things in my own backyard. When we bought the house, we didn't realize the different things we were going to inherit.
Seriously, move over, Indiana Jones, because I've unearthed treasures that would make even the most seasoned archaeologist lose their lunch.
So here I am, in my backyard, which has apparently become the dumping ground for the weirdest things I have ever come across.
What the heck is this? It's some type of boney carcass and I have no idea what I am looking at. Even more importantly, what the heck killed it?
Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. And let's not forget the real mystery here: Who or what pulled off this crime and turned this poor creature into a bone-chilling lawn ornament? This is small but intact which makes me wonder what type of animal fully removed the fur and skin without disrupting the bones?
When we bought this house, no one mentioned the surprise scavenger hunt that came with it. I think I have won enough surprise prizes in life, thank you very much.
Let's face it, my backyard might just be the real Jurassic Park.
It's a jungle out there, and I'm just trying to survive the wilderness of weirdness, one boney creature at a time!
So tell me, what do you think this is? A mouse? A mole? A baby dinosaur?
