Definitive Brewing Opens Outdoor Beer Garden in Old Orchard Beach, Maine
When it comes to breweries, Definitive Brewing has executed one of the quickest expansions in Maine. The company started just 5 years ago when a group of friends that loved beer decided to collaborate and make some beer of their own. About a year later, Definitive Brewing was born and opened their flagship location along Beer-dustrial Way in Portland. Two years later, they expanded to Kittery, opening a beloved location near the border of New Hampshire. In December of 2021, the brewery expanded to a third location near the base lodge at Sunday River. Now, Definitive has moved into another Maine summertime hotspot, opening a 4th location in Old Orchard Beach.
According to the Saco Bay News, Definitive Brewing has taken over the space at 28 East Grand Avenue left behind by The Landmark, a longtime favorite of the area that closed after nearly three decades in business. Definitive has added some covered outdoor seating to the space to give it an outdoor beer garden vibe.
The Old Orchard Beach location will feature the same beers that rocketed Definitive Brewing into a must-visit in Portland and Kittery. Definitive has always had a featured selection of IPAs and fruited sours, and have recently added fruited seltzers into the mix for those that don't love beer but still want the brewery experience. They'll also feature their popular beer ice cream on the menu as well.
Definitive Brewing's Old Orchard Beach location opened on July 1, and plans to remain open every day during the summer season. Their hours of operation will be 12pm until dusk Monday through Thursday and 11am to dusk Friday through Sunday. There will also be food options on site for hungry patrons.
