I mean, on the one hand, he's a Mainer, and then on the other, he was a jerk.

In New England when you have a comeback story, it could end in a championship. All you have to do is remind people of Super Bowl 51. The New England Patriots were down 3-28 and came back to win it all!

In 2004 (and I get goosebumps even typing this) the Red Sox were down 3-0 in the ALCS against the dreaded Yankees. They had to win 4 games in a row to make it to the World Series. We all know they did, but that series was more impressive than the actual World Series...which the Sox won breaking the long, long curse. They remain the only team in MLB history to make such a comeback.

That brings us to the current Boston Celtics team who lost the first three games of the Eastern Conference Finals. Most had written them off, but it's New England and as we all know, miracles DO happen for our teams. And then it slowly started to happen. They kept winning and tied the series three games apiece. The decisive game seven was in the TD Garden, and gave the Celtics home-field advantage! Could it happen? Could the Celtics become the only team in the NBA to come back from a 3-0 deficit and advance to the finals?

No.

It was in fact, the other New England team luck that we don't like talking about...the epic meltdowns (Bruins anyone?). The Celtics simply blew it 103-84 in one of the most disappointing losses on record. It wasn't pretty, and it was a hard loss for fans. But, always looking for that silver lining...there's a Mainer on the Miami Heat team - Duncan Robinson. Duncan was born in York, Maine. Maybe we should get behind the man who was a thorn in the side of the Celtics the entire series. But then he went and did this.

Dude! What are you doing? You're up over 20 points, it seems nearly impossible to come back from this deficit and you taunt the hometown crowd? Not a cool move. Do I forgive the Mainer for a lack of judgment, or become a Denver Nuggets fan?
