Be prepare to get grossed out if you are someone who loves a cool, refreshing dip. According to The Guardian and the video below, the average public swimming pool contains up to 20 gallons of urine! If you're staying at a hotel, you are swimming in about 8 gallons of stranger's pee and in about 2 gallons at your neighbor's house.

That comforting chlorine smell when you enter your local Community Center pool should have you heading for a lake. That chlorine smell only comes when the chlorine is mixed with pee! You've been mistaking it for excellent maintenance all these years. :(
