Experience the Magic Of Christmas At These Augusta Ice Rinks
After what Mainers would call the start of a mild Winter, we are finally starting to see lakes and ponds freezing over. Mainers are itching to get out on the ice for a little hard water fishing as well as a bit of family fun ice skating.
Have you been itching to slip on your skates and hit the smoothest of ice for a bit of skating? You don't have to wait much longer at all.
According to a Facebook post made by Augusta Parks and Recreation - Maine, both of the City of Augusta's Ice Skating rinks will be frozen and ready to open by the end of the week. Both Mill Park and Williams Park locations will be prepared to use on Christmas Eve!!
Augusta Parks and Recreation asks that individuals and NOT sports teams use the rinks; this includes any hockey teams looking to use the ice for practice. Thanks for the understanding, and enjoy an entire skating season with those that matter most.
