The northeast has been getting a lot of love lately from Food Network. Several chefs from some of Maine's most popular restaurants have been showing up on competitions like Chopped and now another one of Food Network's most popular shows will spend Tuesday, February 26th filming in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

According to Seacoast Online, The Great Food Truck Race will spend Tuesday in Market Square in full competition for a future episode of the show. The show was initially supposed to film Monday AND Tuesday but because of strong winds, the show will only film on Tuesday.. If all goes well, producers for the show will follow a full day of selling with an elimination ceremony.

Fans of food trucks should make their plans accordingly. The show generally only picks some of the most successful and well-run food trucks from across the country to take part in the show. The downside? Well, if you like suspense in your television programming, there's going to be some spoilers. It appears this stop is late on The Great Food Truck Race circuit, as only four food trucks will be in town. You've been warned.

If you're unfamiliar with the show, food trucks with different themes battle it out to make the most money at each individual stop along the way. Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence is the host, and typically throws different obstacles to overcome at the food truck teams. Each week, one food truck is eliminated until one is left standing.
