Forget About the Sanderson Sisters, Chucky May Be Taking Over Salem, Massachusetts
Salem, Massachusetts is known for the Salem Witch Trials and over the years, Salem has been a hot spot during the month of October. Many people flock to Salem to attend the Salem Witch Museum or other historic sites that are witch related.
Salem has also gained a lot of tourists due to some fictional witches, of course, I am talking about the Sanderson Sisters from the Disney movie "Hocus Pocus." Tourists will flock to Salem to visit the filming locations of "Hocus Pocus" to stop and take pictures but there is another fictional character that may be taking over Salem, Massachusetts.
Imagine a crazed killer doll running around the streets of Salem. You may know about the movie "Child's Play," where a serial killer performs a voodoo ritual and transfers his soul into a "Good Guy" doll (Chucky) that runs around the streets of Chicago.
Now you may be wondering, why are you talking about Chicago? Well, fast forward, Syfy turned the concept of "Child's Play" to a series called "Chucky" and Salem, MA, seems to be making an appearance.
The second season of "Chucky" started earlier this month (October) on Syfy and the main character Jake has found a new home out of New Jersey (the setting for the first season) and moved to Salem, MA. Of course, after the first season Chucky was ready for some revenge, so does that mean that Chucky may be popping up in Salem?
Granted later in the season we may see Chucky roaming the streets of Salem, it doesn't seem like that will happen right away (not trying to give away any spoilers here).
You can watch the first season as well as the second season as long as you have access to the Syfy channel, here.
