My wife Sherry and I met up with friends at the Down East Lobster Roll Festival in Portland on Saturday. We got there early and actually had a short wait in line to get through the main gate. Once we got in, we decided to split into two teams, one for the beer line and one for the lobstah rolls. Wicked efficient! With beers in hand, our ladies soon joined us with the grub.  We sat down in the grass and enjoyed the Maine classic topped with some chipotle lime aioli along with clam strips and fries. No sooner were our last bites taken when the announcement came from NewsCenter's Rob Caldwell that a severe thunder storm was headed our way and all festival goers needed to evacuate. Luckily we were able to hustle outta there and get in my buddy's car just before the torrential rain came crashing down.  Thanks to everyone on staff especially Showdog and the PPD for helping to get us all out safely. My gang is also very thankful that our Casablanca cruise went of without a hitch later that evening. What a day, dude!

Here's photos of the storm's aftermath from the Portland Police Department.
