Hear Here! The Concert That Shows What Portland at All About
Hear Here! - a talent showcase that is 100% Portland is happening this Sunday, January 26 at 4pm at Merrill Auditorium in Portland. This may just be the coolest concert you see in 2020. Why? There’s something for everybody! Pop and rock bands, a flamenco dancer, Rwandan drummers, a neo-soul singer, USM Chamber singers and Shy from Pihcintu! All are Portland musicians and performing artists! All culminating in a drum circle of community pride.
This is the concert that shows what Portland is all about; people who are incredibly talented and wicked diverse!
This year’s lineup includes:
Lindsey Bourassa, Flamenco Dancer extraordinaire
Bri Lane, a singer/songwriter, who recently auditioned for “The Voice”
Pihcintu United Nations Video “Somewhere,” performed live by Shy
Ikirenga cy’Intore, Rwandan drummers led by Maurice Habimfura
The Jason Spooner Band, a rootsy blues band with over five albums
USM Chamber Singers, conducted by maestro Nicolas Alberto Dosman
Dominic Lavoie, a multi-talented composer, singer, musician, and filmmaker
Angelikah, a 24-year-old emerging singer/songwriter
Drum Circle Finale, featuring Franchely Benazo
