Heartwarming: Allergic Maine Teen Finds New Freedom With Service Dog
When we think of people being allergic, usually the first thing the pops into our heads as the thing is that they will have a reaction to cats and dogs. Fortunately, Martina Baker of Wiscasset isn't allergic to dogs. Because unfortunately, she is allergic to pretty much everything else suffering from something called mast cell activation syndrome.
According to this heartwarming story from our friends at News Center Maine, Martina recently was united with a service dog named Keeva who sniffs around and keeps her away from the stuff that's bad for her. Man oh man, dogs are really amazing creatures. And this one is certainly one of the smartest, bestest buddies we've ever seen! Congratulations to you and your family, Martina.
