Of course the most famous show to ever happen at the Augusta Civic Center was when The King, Elvis Presley played there on May 25, 1977 just months before his death.

There were also some pretty amazing big name appearances in the Capital City in the decade that followed. Augusta hosted everything from Rock to Country to Vegas.

My favorite concert on this list has to be the historic appearance by The Grateful Dead. It is hailed by many a Deadhead as one of the best nights evah!
