Portland has totally come alive this summer. We found a very cool open-air market this past weekend, and it's a must-do destination. The East End Vend is on the corner of Congress Street and Washington Avenue in downtown Portland.

From the East End Vend website:

East End Vend is a small and festive outdoor market in Portland, Maine, for members (of the Maine Crafts Association) and non-members to participate as vendors alongside farmers and foodies. East End Vend markets are typically four hours long, held on multiple dates, and offer a wide variety of art, craft, and other Maine products in a laid-back and community neighborhood setting.

East End Vend popped up last Summer. All the larger craft shows had been canceled because of the pandemic, so this small outdoor market was a perfect solution. We will see you at East End Vend this summer!
