David Letterman Comes to Maine as a Guest on The Nite Show with Danny Cashman
Late at night, I was hitting publish for an article about The Nite Show with Danny Cashman coming to an end on TV stations across the state, when this bomb got dropped on me.
David Letterman Comes to Maine
If you have never watched The Nite Show with Danny Cahsman, you're missing out. It's a locally produced talk show created by Dan Cahsman, who always wanted to be a talk show host and found a way to make it happen. It's local, funny, and very well produced.
The big bomb that got dropped was that during the April 23 taping of The Nite Show, Dan's idol, David Letterman, was a guest on the show at the Gracie Theater on the Husson University Campus in Bangor.
Letterman Popping Up Everywhere
It's been 10 years since David Letterman's final Late Show. Letterman has by no means gone away from the spotlight. His Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction is a big hit. He has a popular YouTube channel where clips of his old show are available as well as new videos from Letterman. He also randomly pops into other places like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, a show that Letterman famously was not given after Johnny Carson retired.
