There's a new coffee shop franchise that has landed in Maine and New Hampshire, and is steadily growing across the country. Ziggi's Coffee is now open in Meredith, New Hampshire, and will open another franchise in February in Saco.

Maine and New Hampshire have their fair share of both local coffee shop franchises and national chains, but Ziggi's is becoming a big player in the coffee business.

According to QSR Magazine, Ziggi’s Coffee was founded in 2004 in Longmont, Colorado, by a couple in their early 20s who dropped out of college to pursue a dream of opening a coffee shop and franchising it. Slowly but surely, they've grown over the past 20 years and as of June 2023, now have 71 franchise locations, hoping to reach a milestone of 100.

The Saco location will open on the corner of Waterfall Drive and Route 1 near Aquaboggan Water Park.

The Meredith Ziggi's is holding its Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, January 27, where you can get a free 16-ounce drink.

Ziggi's has an extensive menu of drinks including, of course, coffee. But they also have chai, teas, fruit smoothies, Italian sodas, Fresherz, and energy infusions using their own brand of energy drink. Their buildings are on small footprints, so the drive-thru is the way to go to get what you need.

Ziggi's in Meredith, New Hampshire, is now open at 339 Daniel Webster Highway Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and weekends from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ziggi's in Saco will open as soon as they put on the finishing touches in February at 1001 Portland Road. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for an opening date.
