Just like you'd see in the movies, a place that looked lost and gone forever has suddenly come back to life.

That story involves the cinemas at Clarks Pond Plaza in South Portland, which had been closed for more than three years thanks to the departure of longtime tenant Cinemagic.

But recently, signs of life began showing up. The parking lot had been paved. New lines had been drawn. Utility companies and interior workers had been showing up. And rather noticeably, the "Cinemagic Grand" sign had been taken down.

That's because the theater location has been taken over by Entertainment Luxury Cinemas, a small New England-based chain that operates a handful of locations in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

After many weeks of renovations and improvements, Entertainment Luxury has officially opened and are celebrating by offering a money saving deal for those that love the movies and want to check out the new place.

For a limited time, you can grab a ticket for any movie, at any time of the day, for just 10 bucks. As many movie goers know, ticket prices have risen substantially in recent years, especially for evening showings.

Entertainment Luxury is hopeful that many people who once enjoyed seeing films inside a theater will return at the right price while enjoying the new comforts offering at their Clarks Pond location.

Entertainment Luxury has also hinted at additional plans for their new Clarks Pond location. For now, they're keeping those plans under wraps. Perhaps they'll be in the 'coming attractions' soon.
