New England's Favorite Floating Oyster Bar is Now Open

It's baaaaack: Boston's Tall Ship.

Tall Ship in East Boston might be one of the most popular drinking and oyster spots in New England for locals and tourists alike.

Let's set the scene if you are unaware of what this whole "Tall Ship" business is all about.

Picture yourself on a 245-foot-long ship in Boston Harbor. It is sunny and 75 out. You have a dozen fresh oysters. There are corn hole matches, music, and a plentiful amount of cocktails all around you.

This is summer in Boston.

According to the Tall Ship website, there are three mahogany bars on board this floating vessel in East Boston. Each bar gets pretty busy, as this is a local hot spot for oysters and cocktails in the summer in New England.

And as of last weekend, it is now open for the 2024 season.

If the onboard games, live music, and oysters do not get you excited about this epic floating vessel, perhaps the view will.

This is the fourth season that the Tall Ship will be in Boston, and you do not want to miss out.

In April, the Tall Ship is open Fridays from 4-11 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM - 11 PM.

With so many people wanting to experience this floating vessel oyster party in May (and the rest of the summer), the Tall Ship will be open Wednesday and Thursday 4-11 PM and 11-11 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

And be sure to get there early, or stay late and hang out at Navy Yard Hospitality. This is a 40,000-square-foot pier built to host food vendors, more live entertainment, more corn hole, more drinks, and more fun.

Consider it an appetizer or dessert to the Tall Ship.
