As we cautiously dip our toes back into the water of getting back out and about, it's great to see another fun destination reopening, that's not all that far away.

The Living Shores Aquarium in Glen, New Hampshire will be back in action on Saturday May 8, 2021. It's an under 2 hour drive from the Portland area so you can take the family on a day trip...easy-peasy.

The huge over 30,000 square foot aquarium opened their doors for the first time just before the 2019 holiday season. Unfortunately, we all know what happened not too long after that.

If you're like us in my family, you got excited about making a plan to go when they got started. But then you you didn't get a trip firmed up and locked in on your calendar. And the next thing you know, the world is locked down in a pandemic.

So I was wicked pumped to see the happy news this week.  We can't wait to meet all the amazing sea animals this summer, especially all those impossibly cute otters.

If you wanna take the kids on an awesome adventure that brings ocean creatures right up close and personal, then this absolutely looks like the place to be. There's even a giant tide pool where you can touch sharks and stingrays if you dare.
