Maine Teens Get More Job Opportunities
Maine teens are getting more opportunities to work thanks to changes by the Maine Labor Dept.
- Cooking or baking is now allowed for teens as young as 14.
- Sixteen year olds are also now allowed to do some soldering and welding
- 16-year-olds can now also work alone at a business that handles cash
- Minors are prevented from working anywhere related to marijuana
I was 14 when I got my first job working at Funtown in Saco. How old were you, and where was your first job? Comment on our Fan Page.
