Waterstone Properties Group announced last week that the development will be called 'Rock Row' as the quarry will be its centerpiece. It will include apartment housing, office space, retail space, a medical and wellness campus, entertainment facilities and walking and biking trails.

Work has begun on a Market Basket Supermarket which will be one of the anchors for the development and the second store to open Maine, the first opening in Biddeford in 2013. Other features include shops, a movie theater, concert venue and a 25,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor brewery and food hall.

An artists rendering shows what the 100 acre site will look look when completed including a lighthouse looming over the quarry.
