Massive Halloween Yard Attraction In Bucksport Not Happening
It's been a year of most all events and traditions being cancelled due to Covid 19. And now, the terrific family that goes all out every year with a spectacular cemetary scene on their property in Bucksport, has decided to skip it this Halloween.
In an announcement on their Facebook page, they let their fans know that we'll have to try again during the Halloween season in 2021.
If you aren't familiar with this wonderfully spooky place, you may want to check out the awesome 2 minute drone video below and put it on your road trip list for next year.
This has got to be the biggest ambitious display of Halloween decorations in Maine, ever. It's a graveyard chock full of skeletons and mannequins dressed as all kinds of amazing monsters.
It's in Bucksport which is of course, kind of like our own Salem. The historic town with that legendary cursed witch's foot headstone in an actual graveyard. And, then there's the super creepy Fort Knox nearby across the Penobscot River as well.
It's called the Town Line Cemetery in Bucksport. According to their Facebook page, they've been doing this scary cool stuff for over 15 years. Living people can visit for free, if they dare. But again, we'll have to wait till 2021.
We've also heard that the fictional town of Collinsport in the Dark Shadows TV soap opera and motion picture is based on the Bucksport area.
So it's makes total scary sense that such a witchy Maine town would have the most impressively horrifying holiday scenes.
This drone video from YouTube user JordAnakin really captures the incredible scale of work put in by these super creative Mainers.
