McDonald’s Giving Free Egg McMuffins Away Monday But There’s A Catch

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't like the idea of free food and McDonald's plans to capitalize on that belief this Monday, March 2nd by offering free Egg McMuffins at all participating McDonald's locations. McDonald's is deeming Monday to be "National Egg McMuffin Day". But, surely there has to be a catch, right?

According to WGME, the catch is that in order to receive your free Egg McMuffin, you'll need to download the McDonald's mobile app and redeem your free breakfast sandwich through it. The McDonald's app is free of charge on smartphone app stores.

The free Egg McMuffin promotion is set to last from 6am to 10;30am on Monday, March 2nd. After downloading the McDonald's mobile app, you'll be able to locate the participating McDonald's locations in Maine that are taking part in the promotion. There's a limit of one free Egg McMuffin per customer.

So there you go, the first Monday in March could bring you some free breakfast if you're willing to work just a little but for it.
