Recently we got the news that the two nights at Fenway Park for the 'Stadium Tour' were a no-go for this summer. This was obviously very disappointing for fans of Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison, and Joan Jett. However, we weren't surprised to hear that decision as the Covid-19 pandemic is still spoiling 2020.

The summer trek was to be a both a reunion tour for Motley Crue and a co-headlining tour with Def Leppard with a stop in Boston for two days on August 25 and 26 at the historic home ballpark for the Boston Red Sox.

If you were a teenager or twenty-something in the 80s, this would be a dream come true for reliving the decadent soundtrack of your youth, live and loud.

We know. You really wanna see this show. There is hope.

Now we are happy to report that Motley Crue has officially announced new dates for next year. The shows have been rescheduled to July 17 and 18, 2021.

According to the post on the Motley Crue Facebook page, if you already have tickets you should hold on to them as they'll be good to use for the new dates. If the new dates don't work for your 2021 calendar, refunds will be available.

Now let's all keep doing our part to stay safe and help stop the spread so we can get together and rock out at live shows again in 2021.
