A band that has been loved by generations of music fans are saying goodbye to the road and live concerts in North America in 2025.
102.9 WBLM welcomes The Who back to New England for one last time. Tuesday, August 26th at the legendary Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Who were already nearly a decade into their career when WBLM signed on the air in 1973. The band formed in London, England in 1964. Their original lineup was Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Keith Moon. Sadly, Keith Moon passed away in September 1978. The band carried on with a new drummer until their first "farewell" tour in 1982. Roger, Pete and John reunited for Live Aid in 1985 and then again in 1989. John Entwistle died in 2002.
