Portland High School Student Arrested for Terrorizing

This news release just in from the Portland Police Department:

A 15-year-old Portland High School student was arrested Thursday, June 7th and charged with terrorizing. School administration learned around 7:45 am that the student had threatened sometime earlier to bring a gun to school. They immediately notified the School Resource Officer who found the student in class and removed him around 8:00 am. A search of his backpack revealed a pellet gun resembling a realistic handgun. No specific threats were made to the school, other students, or staff.

The identities of juveniles charged with misdemeanor crimes are not released.
