Portland Native’s Remember ME is a Step Back in Time With Cool T-Shirts
The best part is you could actually win a t-shirt!
RememberME Portland is an online shop that pays homage to places and things that shaped Portland. It's from the mind of Victor Rios who grew up in Portland and still calls Portland home. He loves Portland and has fond memories of places and things that he associates with Portland that shaped who he is as an adult with a business in Portland. This project from Expose Design is truly a love letter to Portland. Victor put it perfectly,
These are more than designs. They are memories of some amazing places that shaped my life and shaped the Portland we know today. Everyone has a story to tell and all I can do is smile when I talk about these places with others.
I know you'll know this design. Can you remember the business that is no longer around?
New designs will be shown as a preview prior to the release date. This awesome t-shirt will be available for purchase starting in July. Hint: After school at Deering High School, Victor would walk down to this spot to rent a video game and grab some ice cream. One of the long hold outs to an industry that is no longer! If you know what this is, let us know below and one lucky winner will win this t-shirt when it's released!
Congratulations to Cody from Portland, Maine. He correctly knew that this is a play on the logo for Photo Market in Portland. He wins a t-shirt with this cool logo!
Look for new designs previewed weekly. They will become collector's items. Part of the fun of RememberME is truly remembering. I think the pandemic made us long for nostalgia. Portland is great now, but the places that are no longer, where you may have spent some quality time, are truly fun to remember.
