Praising Local Brews With Maine Historical Society
Maybe you remember learning Maine history in middle school? Well, hearing more about the heritage of our great state is about to get way more fun...with beer! There's a new exhibit at the Maine Historical Society that celebrates the continuing explosion local brews and how it all got here.
Tomorrow it's "A Taste of Maine's Beer History" at 6pm, because an excellent exhibit like this needs a great party. It's hosted by Joshua Christie who wrote the book, "Maine Beer: Brewing in Vacationland" and Don Littlefield of The Maine Brew Bus.
There will be tasty samples of Maine craft beer to try as part of the event as well. While you're there for the beer, check out another new exhibit to the MHS this year called "Maine Eats: The Revolution Starts Here". There's no doubt that local brews are always better when they're paired with great local farm to table food.
This of course a 21 and over celebration and you have to register to attend.
