Prepare Your Feeny Call! A ‘Boy Meets World’ Reunion is Coming to Boston
Boy Meets World
It's hard to believe that the cast of Boy Meets World is celebrating 30 years since the very first episode of the show aired back on September 24, 1993 (according to IMDb), and even harder to believe that it's been over 23 years since the final episode aired in May 2000 (also according to IMDb.)
But without question, the show has been passed down from generation to generation, as people who grew up with the show back when it was on the air now watch it with their own children.
The show is also reeking of popularity and has been thrust back into the spotlight 30 years later due to some of the stars of the show gathering to form a watch-along podcast of the show that has turned into something they couldn't even have imagined.
Pod Meets World
Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle -- possibly better known as Topanga Lawrence, Shawn Hunter, and Eric Matthews, respectively -- came together to create a watch-along podcast of the show they all starred in three decades ago called Pod Meets World.
Available on all outlets, the podcast not only highlights every episode of Boy Meets World in depth, but also allows the three stars to share their on-screen and behind-the-scenes memories, as well as integrates on-camera and behind-the-scenes guests from guest stars to producers and everyone in between.
The podcast has grown in popularity so quickly that the three have taken the show on the road multiple times throughout 2023, dubbing it 'The Kids Wanna Jump! Tour' and, after months of coming nowhere near New England, they finally announced they're coming to Boston in a teaser video a couple of days ago.
Today, it was announced on the Pod Meets World Instagram page that tickets are officially on sale now for when Danielle, Rider, and Will bring The Kids Wanna Jump! Tour to the Shubert Theatre in Boston on Friday, November 10, 2023.
Tickets are on sale now on the official Pod Meets World website. And as a heads up, the stops that have already happened in this year in other parts of the country have all sold out, so don't wait to snag tickets to this one.
