Spend the Night in This Cozy Treehouse Airbnb in New Hampshire
Shoutout to Airbnb and its hosts for not only being unequivocally amazing in their own right, but for bringing our attention to unique homes where we can stay with friends, family, a partner, or whomever else.
One of these homes happens to be 30 feet off the ground.
Located in the woods of Dunbarton, New Hampshire, and adjacent to 200 acres of conservation land is this one-of-a-kind Treetop Sanctuary.
For $228 a night, this popular Airbnb is the perfect way for up to four people to spend time in nature away from the hustle & bustle of the outside world.
The host, Jack, describes the experience as "luxury camping". He recommends that for the basics, you bring a sleeping bag and blankets, pots, pans, utensils, food, and flashlights. The space is already equipped with "elec. wifi, compost toilet, wood stove, and fridge."
The treehouse is easily accessible via a short walkway that leads you into the woods to your destination. Although the Airbnb is safe, it's still high up, so neither pets nor children under age 10 are permitted.
Guests are absolutely loving the Treetop Sanctuary, which currently has over 900 reviews and 4.9/5 stars. One woman, Lucy, stayed there with her friends as part of a girls weekend, and had this to say about her visit:
"Jack's treehouse is truly magical and was the perfect backdrop for our girls' weekend. Jack was a communicative host and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and trails nearby. The stove ensured that the treehouse remained toasty and cozy and the beds were very comfortable. This was such a unique experience and I'd highly recommend Jack's place to anyone looking for an adventure."
Another person named Natalie reserved the treehouse with her husband, and both had a positive experience as well:
"What a lovely experience! My husband and I had a great time at Jack’s cozy and clean house in the trees. It was the perfect unplugged getaway. The wood stove kept the room warm and was fun to cook on. We enjoyed relaxing...and playing card games."
