The Maine Department of Transportation has released deer-car crash information by county. These are ten-year totals so it's a pretty good sample size. And the results are a little surprising.
The rainbow of colors displayed is enough to make this video great to see. But then an unexpected surprise walked into the scenery, when a mom and two babies crossed the stream. A great big bull moose was part of the parade too.
It's almost like a living Bob Ross painting. And to put the icing on the cake, a family of moose show up to cross a stream just in time for the drone to capture.
When you can see all 251 crashes laid out on a map, it paints a picture of how prevalent moose-related collisions are in Maine, and where they happen the most.
There are a ton of videos of moose calls (good ones and bad ones) out there on YouTube, but this video probably stands apart from the rest, because a moose actually shows up!
This boy is HUGE!!! He's walking the median like he owns it, cuz guess what? He does! This bull moose was out for an evening walk, check out his enormous antlers!
