I have never thought much about the idea of pet CPR. You know you go the vet, your lovely pets get their checkup and shots and such, and that's just about it for the basics. Well,  thanks to the Portland Police Department and the Maine POM Project, you can now get some basic skills on pet CPR.

The event is coming up on April 26th at the Cummings Center. At the pet CPR session, you will learn pet CPR skills on

  • General First Aid
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Fractures
  • Electrical Shock
  • Bleeding

From the PDD:

A few months back we shared a story about this program that our first responders took part in. We are excited to announce we will be partnering with The Maine POM Project to bring this class to our community. All are welcome, but space is limited.
