Christmas in Portland

Nothing marks the start of the Christmas season in Portland, Maine quite like the arrival of the giant Christmas Tree in Monument Square.

Today, November 18th at 9 am the tree is scheduled to arrive. While it won't be lit up until Black Friday, the 26th, you can see the tree's arrival on the Monument Square Tree Cam.

Tree Cam Returns

Thanks to Portland Downtown and Hood Eggnog the Monument Square Tree Cam will be up and running once again.

The Tree Cam is a 24/7 stream on YouTube of Monument Square. Viewers can enjoy the beautiful ambiance in the heart of the city day and night.

They are firing up the cam for a couple of hours and you can watch the tree arrival here.

The tree is being installed by the City of Portland forestry crew, Keeley Crane Service, and Shaw Brothers Construction.

Lighting

The lighting will be on Friday, November 26th at 4 pm and those gathered in Monument Square will enjoy free eggnog thanks to Hood Eggnog starting at 3 pm.
