According to Rolling Stone, some of the most glittery hillbillies in Rock n Roll have inspired a Vegas musical. "Sharp Dressed Man", a ZZ Top inspired musical is in the works and is set to open at Caesars, Las Vegas in 2020.

Don't let the beards fool you, these rockers love their bling. When I saw them on their Viva Las Vegas Tour back in the day, they had more rhinestones than Dolly Parton and more costume/fuzzy guitar changes than Diana Ross. They SO belong in Vegas!

ZZ's manager, Carl Stabner, has his hands all over the project and Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard (the guy without the beard), have all signed on as executive producers.

The plot: A Texas mechanic becomes a kind of Robin Hood character along with his band of merry "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers". There will be hot girls, thievery and of course, plenty of hits from ZZ Top, including, but not limited to: La Grange, Gimme All Your Lovin', Legs and Cheap Sunglasses.

I was at this show! ZZ Top's Viva Las Vegas Tour 2005 in Guilford, New Hampshire!
